I just opened the box today and got my snap press out. I got the die set #16 with it. I am making my husband some western shirts and though I use buttons it's not the same. I put snaps on some before with the old spool and hammer deal and they either came off or got ruined. I've just been playing with this press on some double thicknesses of fabric with interfacing and it was so easy I can't believe it. They fastened tightly all the way around and most important evenly! I can't wait to finish this shirt and put them on to see how it looks. It's white with a red stripe and I'm putting on red snaps. Lucky hubby likes what I make for him. Told DD everything she owns will now have snaps!!

It does have oil on the press and I understand that is from the milling process and I'm wiping it off around the dies so it won't ruin the clothes, hope that doesn't let it rust.
